2024 Taste of Hamburg-er Festival Contests

All Star Amateur Hamburger Eating Competition
Sponsored by Copperz Brewing Co. and Red Robin

Test your hamburger eating skills and compete for the title! This year’s hamburger eating competition is open to all. The competition begins at 3:30pm at the State Street Square stage. Register for a chance to win up to $350! Prizes will be given for 1st – 5th place. Registration is closed for 2024.

Dine & Dash Burgers and Trail Race – Blue Mountain Wildlife Inc. 
Race begins with eating a burger, followed by a 1-mile run, eating another burger and running a mile back to the finish line. Registration begins at 10 am at 2nd and State Streets. Race begins at 10:30 am. Registration includes 2 burgers and a free t-shirt. Cost is $30 and is limited to the first 50 applicants. Pre-registration can be completed on www.bluemountainwildlifestore.com/dine-dash-1.  

Best Burger Awards

This category is only open to participating burger stands. Vendors will compete to win awards in the following categories: Best Taste, Best Appearance, Originality, and Grand Champion. Judging begins at 11:00 am and takes place on the side of the Windsor Press building located at the corner of Peach Alley and State Street.

Cow Decorating Contest

Located at the corner of 4th and State Street
Decorate and take home your own wooden cow lawn ornament. For those that would like to participate in the contest, judging will begin at 4 pm. $5 per cow
All day event, or until cows are gone. 

Mooing Contest
Sponsored by WEEU
All participants should be at the WEEU Live Broadcasting Remote located at the corner of State Street and Peach Alley no later 11:45 am. Contest begins at 12 pm. No pre-registration necessary.

“You Lucky Duck” Contest
Sponsored by Deitsch Eck Restaurant and Joe Jurgielewicz & Son, LTD

Purchase your $5 rubber ducks for a chance to win prizes and cash! Located at 314 State Street.
